The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly walk in support of local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness. Join us on February 24, 2024 - team up, fundraise, walk, and take a moment to look closer... because it’s cold out there.
The start and end of the event will be at the B the Light Mission. Parking is available at the mission. Enter the parking lot on the north side of the building.
B the Light Mission was founded in response to the increase in and challenges of homelessness in Bartlesville and surrounding areas. This creates and prolongs issues for individuals such as: joblessness, crime, hunger, mental and physical obstacles including substance abuse. B the Light Mission seeks to help individuals escape the confines of homelessness and poverty, not maintain, or ease their situation.
B the Light Mission seeks to reach those individuals who wish to make a change to their circumstances through challenging their current situation to build a better one.
B the Light provides meals; identifies special concerns and makes referrals to community agencies; and offers other services as needed such as feeding, clothing and sheltering the underserved.
Our mission is to
Bring Hope to the Hopeless
Food to the Hungry
Love to the Lost
Healing to the Broken
Shelter to the Struggling
