The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities. Let’s gather together for people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there.
River Valley Charities is thrilled to bring Hudson its third annual Coldest Night of the Year—part of a growing national movement held in dozens of cities across the U.S. While CNOY connects people nationwide, your walk fuels real change right here at home for neighbors facing hunger, hardship, and homelessness.
In just two years, our community has raised over $112,000 and rallied more than 1,200 walkers, donors, and sponsors, placing Hudson among the top 10 CNOY locations in the country. And we’re only getting started.
For 2026, RVC is once again partnering with Grace Place, Our Neighbors’ Place, and The Farm at YMCA Camp St. Croix—working together to put on the event and to strengthen essential food, shelter, and support services across the St. Croix Valley.
Walk with us. Show up for your neighbors. Help make year three the year that changes everything.
