About Emergency Shelter Services
Emergency Shelter Services was established in 1978 and offers a variety of strategic programming to address housing instability in our community, including the Emergency Shelter Program, Emergency Solutions Grant, Permanent Supportive Housing, and the Consolidated Rapid Rehousing
Programs.

To prevent homelessness and
provide access to the basic need
of safe and affordable housing
OUR VISION:
For a future where homelessness is rare
and temporary, and where affordable
housing and support systems are sufficient
to prevent long-term homelessness in Berrien County
