The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly walk to raise money for local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness. Join us on February 25, 2023 - team up, fundraise, walk, and gather for good... because it’s cold out there.
The House of Hope provides those in need, regardless of their status, with emergency shelter and encouragement, and helps them identify and connect to the resources they need to become self-sustainable. The shelter provides the basic needs of food and shelter for our neighbors experiencing homelessness as well as identifying all guests’ unique challenges and connecting them with resources that can help them overcome those challenges.
Begins downtown at Ballad Brewing, then walking up Bridge St and across the MLK Bridge, then for a stroll down the Riverwalk and back. (Turnaround for the 2 kilometer route is right after bridge)
