The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities. Let’s gather together for people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there.
The Lismore Hotel is hosting this event in the ballroom. Please look for and follow Coldest Night of the Year signage, or ask front-desk attendants for assistance as needed. Thank you!
Join us on February 28 as we walk and fund-raise together for our neighbors who face homelessness. Each step and each dollar raised brings us closer to our 2026 goal: to house and support 60 families, including 150 children.
We often receive calls from folks who are employed but not making quite enough to afford rent. They're coming up just $100-$300 short per month. Home for Good removes barriers. So we're creating a program called The Bridge.
Bridge households would receive some short-term support to 'bridge the gap' with rent, as they actively engage in individualized financial coaching with our amazing community partner, Marine Credit Union Foundation! This would help us to reach and support more families into independence and stability.
For every one of us, it takes a village. Walking shoulder to shoulder and gathering for a meal together will remind us all that our shared compassion is what makes us such a great community. We need each other and It’s Cold Out There.
