The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities. Let’s gather together for people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there.
Off the Streets Middletown helps those experiencing homelessness in Dauphin County access permanent housing. We do this in two key ways: we provide money to help pay security deposits, and provide furniture to help make their new house a home. These are by far the two biggest barriers a person faces when trying to get into a place and stay there.
Join us on February 28 as we walk and fund-raise together for our neighbors who face hurt, hunger, and homelessness! Each step and each dollar raised, helps us continue to offer our expanding service and support. Walking shoulder to shoulder will remind us all that our shared compassion is what makes us such a great community. And remember. It’s Cold Out There!
We will use the gymnasium as our check-in and shelter area. We will also distribute all race materials, swag and refreshments from this area.
We will begin and end the race in the parking lot that faces the east side of the school building.
