The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities. Let’s gather together for people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there.
Pottstown Beacon of Hope walks alongside individuals experiencing homelessness through relationships grounded in hope, love, and grace, providing bridge housing, supportive services, and opportunities that help people build lasting stability.
This fundraiser will help keep open our Seasonal Shelter that provides warm place to stay every night from November 4 through April 30 for unhoused residents of the Pottstown community.
Guests receive a safe place to sleep, an evening meal, breakfast, and transportation each morning. For some guests, the Seasonal Shelter is the first step toward longer-term stability. When appropriate, our team can connect individuals with bridge housing and other community resources that support housing, healthcare, employment, recovery, and other needs.
