The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities. Let’s change the tune for people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there.
Parking is available behind the church. Enter the main double doors in the back of the church. Restrooms are on the main floor. Check in will be on the main floor.
Gathering space is in the fellowship hall on the lowest level. There will be soup and drinks after the walk in the fellowship hall.
Additional parking is available on the corner of Poplar and Miami behind the Courtview Building.
Mercy Mission House opened its doors on February 14, 2022, after a short capital campaign and building renovations. Mercy Mission House Emergency Shelter is the only shelter in Shelby County, Ohio. MMH is unique because it serves men, women and families on one campus. In addition, it has various campus partners that all serve clients from one location.
Coldest Night of the Year will allow us to build awareness of what our homeless brothers, sisters and kids face during the Ohio winter months. It costs $35,000 a month to run the shelter and we serve 30-40 people a night. We need help covering operating expenses to continue to provide a safe, warm place to sleep, heal and move forward!
